Fest ready for 'Standoff' - Variety

The cast of new Fox drama "Standoff" will join the New York Television Festival for a special screening of the pilot on Sept. 16.
Creator Craig Silverstein and thesps Ron Livingston and Rosemarie DeWitt will participate in a panel and attend a reception afterward in the DGA Theater lobby.
Fest opens Sept. 12 with the premiere of the first episode of the NBC drama "Kidnapped" at New World Stages.
The screening of "Kidnapped" will be followed by a gala held with the Mayor's Office of New York City to celebrate its "Made in NY" production initiative.
In the Fox drama, two crisis negotiators, played by Livingston and DeWitt, have to reveal their secret relationship after a tense hostage standoff.
The New York Television Festival will run through Sept. 17.
